Itron to Accelerate Internet of Things Solutions with New Certification
Itron® Riva Dev Kit is Certified to Run with Microsoft Azure IoT
LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. — April 5, 2018 — Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), a world-leading technology and services company dedicated to the resourceful use of energy and water, announced today that the Itron Riva Dev Kit is now certified to run with Microsoft Azure IoT, helping to ensure customers get IoT solutions up and running quickly with hardware and software that has been pre-tested and verified to work with Azure IoT services.
The Itron Riva Dev Kit enables third party developers to create powerful, secure cloud-based services using the Itron® Riva platform and Azure. Developers can use the dev kit to monitor real data streams from any brand of sensor on the Azure cloud platform; use Azure products, such as Azure Machine Learning and Stream Analytics, to analyze trends and predict behaviors; and use any Itron Riva ready device in an Azure-enabled OpenWay® Riva network.
