Mitch Davda is a utility industry leader with nearly two decades of experience driving grid modernization, operational transformation, and advanced metering innovation. He currently serves as the Director of Meter Operations at Duquesne Light Company, where he provides executive leadership for grid modernization, grid edge intelligence, enterprise metering and street light functions.
In this role, Mitch leads strategic initiatives that strengthen grid reliability, resiliency, and customer value. He oversees modernization programs focused on Edge Computing devices, distributed intelligence, and next-generation grid technologies. Prior to joining Duquesne Light, Mitch held a leadership role at Itron, where he managed major utility accounts and provided strategic consulting and technical guidance across electric, water, and gas utilities.
Mitch holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology and an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana. He lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Shivangi, and their son, Kabir. Outside of work, Mitch enjoys event planning, exploring new cuisines, and supporting community and nonprofit initiatives.
