Q: How would you describe your current role at Itron?  What does a typical week look like for you?
A:  As a Portfolio Account Manager at Itron Indonesia for seven years, I'm responsible for driving revenue and fostering customer success in Indonesia and Timor Leste. Since our customer are utility companies, I focus on helping our customers achieve their goals to preserve resources like water and electricity. 
A typical week involves traveling to meet customers, understanding their challenges and market dynamics, collaborating internally with product management teams and ensuring timely delivery of our commitments. I balance my time between on-site customer visits, internal strategy meetings and my personal hobbies like going to the gym and travelling. 


Q: You have worked at Itron for over a decade!  Employee growth and development are important to Itron, what opportunities have you had to evolve, grow, and stretch as an employee?
A: Over my decade-long tenure at Itron, I've experienced significant growth opportunities aligned with our cultural value of accountability. As the company shifted focus from devices to networks and solutions, my manager ensured our team received appropriate training on new products, broadening my portfolio to include smart city solutions and distributed intelligence. This proactive approach to employee development has allowed me to evolve alongside the company, taking ownership of my work and results while expanding my expertise beyond devices.


Q: Being accountable means taking ownership of personal results that contribute to shared results.  Describe how you contribute to a culture of accountability at Itron.
A: In my role at Itron, I contribute to a culture of accountability by consistently taking ownership of my responsibilities and their outcomes. I regularly track progress with customers and proactively address any challenges that arise. I maintain open communication with both customers and internal stakeholders. I ensure that commitments are met and expectations are managed effectively. 


Q: What advice do you have for the next generation of females in sales?   
A: Continuously learn and adapt, stay updated on industry trends, develop new skills and be open to experimenting with fresh approaches. We bring valuable perspective and skills that significantly contribute to our teams’ success. 

Q: How does your current role impact Itron’s purpose to build a more resourceful world?
A: In my role as a Portfolio Account Manager, I directly contribute to Itron's purpose of building a more resourceful world by connecting our innovative solutions with the specific needs of customers in Indonesia and Timor Leste. Reducing waste and careful use of energy and water is the core of resourcefulness. 
This not only drives our business growth but also supports our customers in achieving their sustainability goals and contributing to a more resourceful world. 


Q: What gets you excited each day to show up to work at Itron? 
A: What excites me each day about working at Itron is the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to meaningful solutions. Even though our office has a work-from-home policy, I often choose to come to our Cikarang office to engage in face-to-face interactions with colleagues from various departments, fostering a spirit of innovation and teamwork. Itron's supportive workplace culture, which promotes a healthy work-life balance, combined with the satisfaction of knowing our work is making a positive impact on resource management, keeps me motivated and enthusiastic about my role.
